Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Course Description
PALS is intended for healthcare providers who are responsible for the well being of infants and children. Content includes the information necessary to recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest, the information and strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children and the cognitive and psychomotor skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize pediatric patients in respiratory failure, shock or cardiopulmonary arrest.
